Sorry I haven’t had a chance to blog in a little while, things have been so busy but I must keep on top of this! So I wore this outfit the one day we had some sunshine, when was the last time you got to walk out in just a jacket?!
This was just a little outfit for work but it was so exciting not having to throw on millions of layers for a change. I’m wearing my new high-waisted Joni Jeans from Topshop which I absolutely love! They’ve got quite a vintage look to them and I love Topshop’s jeans fit. I’ve paired them with a black scallop top and my gorgeous coral Chanel like jacket find in a recent sample sale. Also, I adore these studded cut out sandals from River Island that I bagged during the Christmas Sales. I can’t wait to wear them more often when we have better weather again! Plus, despite the heel, they are mega comfortable❤ I’ve completed the look with my beloved LV. What do you think of the look? So nice to be able to wear some colour! Plus, I would definitely recommend these jeans to anyone and everyone!

Following on from my day post in Leicester, we also went to a local bar during the visit and after much debate, here’s what I wore in the evening:
From all of my outfit options (they were all midis!), I picked this number which i’d purchased earlier in the day from Primark. Now I must admit, I rarely ever shop in Primark due to personal preference but I can’t help but pick out the odd item when I go with my sister (she has a great eye and definitely a lot more patience compared to me!). I really liked this dress, one because i’m all about midis at the moment and two, it will be a great piece I can also wear during the day. As the bar was quite local and low key, I thought this casual midi would work great. I sadly didn’t take a lot of accessories with me, especially as I don’t already travel light, so i’ve paired it with what I could; a studded clutch from Zara and black wedges (that you can’t unfortunately see!) that I’d also bought earlier in the day. So, what do you make of midis – a fashion do or don’t?

Black & Gold Studded Clutch – Zara
Lastly, check out this badboy!! The largest pizza i’ve ever seen and not to forget, the spiciest! We picked it up after the bar (as you do) and I just had to take a snap of this beast. By the looks of this post, yes the diet had well and truly gone during my trip.
I recently made a little trip to Leicester to visit a loved one. I was only there for a few days and surprise surprise, spent most of my time at the High Cross Shopping Centre (I actually bought quite a few cute pieces which i’ll definitely post soon).
My outfit for the day, I admittedly have also jumped onto the comeback of tartan bandwagon with these high waisted tartan jeans which I absolutely love. I’ve worn them so much since purchasing, they’re trendy and have a great fit. Well done River Island. I’ve been quite tempted to also buy the matching blazer but I just have so many jackets.. I’m still working on a better reason to justify it! I’ve paired the jeans with a leather (pu) top from Zara that I bagged in the Christmas sales, it’s pretty cute as a basic top to just throw on and not look so simple. I’m all for statement necklaces and i’m loving this elegant piece I picked up from Coast; they have some amazing accessories and jewellery that gets undermined as we don’t always associate the brand with such beaut accessories. I would definitely recommend my fellow magpies to pay a little visit. I’ve also had a rings update recently as I tend to lose most of them; the black and gold ring is from Diva, Miss Selfridge and the gold finger ring is from Primark. I’ve thrown on my favourite coat from Jovonnista and my beloved Bayswater to complete the outfit. Minus-ridic-unbelievably-freezing-weather, i’m ready…

Tartan High Waisted Jeans – River Island
Natasha Coat – Jovonnista London
Necklace – Coast
Boots – River Island
Bayswater Bag – Mulberry
And the icing on the cake… I also paid a cheeky little visit to Tinseltown whilst in Leicester and despite my “diet”, I couldn’t resist their sweet waffles topped in toffee sauce and me being me, covered with rainbow sprinkles and finished with vanilla ice cream. How delicious does this look?
What are you current wardrobe essentials? I’ll post about my evening outfit next!
As we make our way through fashions transitional period and see-saw like weather… i’ve been eyeing up serveral beaut items, wondering how to justify needing them now (lots of layering springs to mind) and adding to my mental list of wants for the month ahead. I thought i’d share with you just some of the few things i’m lusting after for February.
From a gorgeous jewelled boucle jacket from River Island (the hint of bright neon yellow reminds me of Spring approaching.. so close yet so far!) to the wardrobe essential denim shirt from Topshop, here are my top 5 picks:
1. Black Stones Necklace – Zara
2. Grey Boucle Jewelled Fluro Trim Jacket – River Island
3. Spot Stretch Crop Top – Topshop
4. Black Strappy Open Toe Extreme Flatforms – River Island
5. MOTO Denim Shirt – Topshop
What do you think of my top 5.. Have you already got any of these? I don’t think it will be very long till these are added onto my shelves! What are your Feb Faves?
This is a really quick post to show you my new coat. There’s been a lot of the PU sleeved coats and jackets around but i’ve steered away until I spotted this from the exclusive Jovonnista collection by Jovonna London based in Topshop, Oxford Circus. I really liked the double breasted blazer look and the colour is a really nice coffee brown. I’ve been able to wear it with pretty much everything, it’s so nice and smart, it’s most definitely become my go-to coat for this season.

Embracing my inner Chanel, I’ve gone a little monochrome mad, but what better than the classic black and white look? A trend that will never become dated (Thanks Mr. Largerfield), pairing your blacks and whites look so simple yet so stylish.
This was just an outfit for work, probably the smartest I’ve ever looked. I’ve worn my new pleather leggings from Topshop – a pair every girl needs in her wardrobe. They just sit with everything perfectly! I’ve teamed it with an oversized blouse and layered with a black crochet jumper.
You can’t see my shoes but i’m wearing biker shoe boots from Dorothy Perkins (i’ll get them in another photo next time!) and there’s my favourite Tillie again.
How do you guys feel about the mono trend? What’s best is that you can just pair old black and white products together, something we all have in our wardrobes and easily channel this look!
All I need now is the classic Chanel bag to perfect the outfit! One day…

It’s A Jeans Kind Of Day…
I’m not really an obvious denim girl. By that I mean, I rarely wear your standard blue denim jeans as I feel they make an outfit look too casual. I’d much rather wear smart trousers or in fact, any other coloured denim! I had to make an exception this time… I’ve fallen in love with this denim pair by Oasis. They have more of an edge to them and I felt I could rock them up and avoid looking casual. To top it off, they are so comfortable… What better to wear than these to beat the Winter blues? I❤
To complete the look, I just had to pair it with my sheer back dipped hem top from River Island – despite creasing instantly, this top is a must buy. I’ve tucked it in from the front to show off the jeans and added a studded belt from Oasis to finish off the edgy look. It’s a belt I purchased years ago but i’m so glad I still get to wear it as studs are still high on the fashion radar! The statement collar by Diva, Miss Selfridge is gorgeous! I’m still loving statement necklaces and this is pretty perfect to throw on any simple top or dress for the effortless look.
The River Island boots have become my go to Winter ’12 pair! They’ve become one of those.. “I love them so much, I’ve forgotten about the other 50 in my wardrobe!” They are just so comfortable and yet so chic. Several people have asked me where I’ve got them from and they are so worth it. If you’re looking for your Winter boots, I would totally recommend these. The bag is another favourite, my beloved Mulberry from the Tillie family. I just can’t get enough of it, i’m so glad I bought the black, plus the casual satchel look means I can wear it with every outfit.
Also, you know I’m still rocking my fave MAC lipstick, ‘Dubonett’. Everyone needs this colour especially for A/W! What’s your go-to comfort look?

A birthday treat from my best friends, I recently visited the well known restaurant / club, The Supper Club, located near Notting Hill. We were told in advance that it was a Bollywood themed night but I didn’t really know what to expect. On arrival, it wasn’t at the most appealing location, however once entering, the cocktail reception area prior to the main club was intimate and a good place for a chit chat. We entered the club soon after, which was surrounded with beds both upstairs and on the ground floor with a dance floor in the middle. Slowly, we were given elements of our four course meal, however, I was far from impressed with the food. It lacked in flavour which is key when cooking Asian dishes! Famous for their entertainment, during the dinner, we were entertained by a belly dancer with a snake and an impressive acrobatic dancer! The music was also pretty good whilst we were eating, however, I couldn’t handle the continuous play of Punjabi MC (to help add a supposed Bollywood feel I presume?).
I kept my outfit quite simple for a club. I wore my fave printed trousers with a black sheer back dipped-hem top, finished with a gold collar and my must have black boots. I had rushed out after work and bought the top and collar as I had the outfit in my mind. The top is gorgeous, I’m loving the dipped hem look, especially the maxi style, plus, the sheer back on this top really helps in adding an eveningwear touch!
Overall, I definitely won’t be rushing back there but it was good to be able to tick off another place on my to visit list. Have you been before? What are your thoughts? (Apologies for my poor quality photos, i’m relying on my iPhone at the moment!)

With the seasons officially changed and the unbearable cold weather upon us, it’s finally time to channel the cosy knits and fashionable fur (faux), I guess the only positive about A/W. In this outfit of the day, i’m wearing my warm mono knit jumper from Warehouse. I bought it last year but I still love wearing it, it’s got quite a classic Chanel feel to it, plus you can pretty much throw it over anything. I’ve worn it over a pair of grey skinny jeans from Topshop; a pair I purchased over 2 years ago and is still such great quality!
I love my new Winter ankle boots i’m wearing from River Island! They’re a classic black pair with a high platform, I would recommend them to everyone looking for a timeless pair of boots to last throughout the year! I don’t wear grey or silver a lot so this is the one of the few times I’ve got to wear my vintage cuff! I love the red as it adds some colour to the outfit.
For anyone who knows me, I LOVE wearing lipstick! My favourites are by YSL but my everyday colours are usually by MAC. I’ve finished the outfit with my new MAC lipstick ‘Dubonnet’. I usually wear nudes but I thought this shade would be perfect to help add colour to the oufit.
Hope this has inspired you to pull out your old favourites from your wardrobe! It’s not always about buying all the latest styles but reworking the old with the new!
Hope you’ve all had a lovely weekend!❤

I’ve been absolutely awful with posting frequently but I haven’t completely forgotten! Here’s a quick a few snaps from a recent Saturday night out. I’m wearing a navy blue playsuit from Miss Selfridge; it’s really simple but it has a cute cut out at the back to add some edge to the look. To add some colour, i’ve paired it with mustard wedges and a tweed print blazer. What do you think of the outfit? (I wish i’d taken more photos!)
It was my first time visiting Kensington Roof Gardens and I really enjoyed it. The music was brilliant; we didn’t want to get off the dancefloor plus the view is beautiful. The open roof garden area was lovely and heated so it made it bearable. I definitely know where i’ll be hanging out next Summer!
