Last month I turned the big 2-4, 20 freaking 4! Birthdays are always a big deal for me which means dressing up! I celebrated by eating and drinking tasty cocktails most of the day with the loved ones. Spoilt rotten, it was again a birthday to remember; hoping the year 24 brings more happiness, laughter + memorable moments. I’ve let the trousers do all the talking in this outfit; i’ve always been a fan of loud prints, plus a massive trend for 2012 – I had to buy this pair as soon as I saw them in store. I’ve completed the outfit with a simple black scalloped top and blazer but not to drown it in black, i’ve finished it with lots of coloured accessories, featuring my new tan Mulberry clutch and my favourite mustard wedges.
Printed Trousers – Almari (Oasis + Friends)
Black Scallop Top – Topshop
Black Blazer – HQ
Mustard Wedges – New Look
Tan Clutch – Mulberry

Hey readers, im sorry I haven’t blogged in a while. Life has been a little crazy recently but it seems to be slowing down and settling as I’ve landed a fab new job which I begin in a few weeks. I’m going to add a few outfit of the day posts and hopefully get back onto the blogging as soon as.
In the mean time, have you been watching x factor? The country’s most popular show began last week and I love it already. I still do of course miss Simon Cowell (major man crush) but should really get over that. One thing on everyone’s well tongue, that Zoe contestant who to say the least threw a tantrum – an understatement due to her unsuccessful audition. To be honest, we do not really know what the panel at the pre judges audition may have said to her but as far as we’re concerned, she chose to sing Pink and simply blew it (no pun intended). It is safe to say, well that’s your career gone down the drain love. Well done.
My personal favourite was Jahmene Douglas. Anyone who can sing the way he did and is as cute as that wins my brownie points. Adorable, it’s as simple as that. I do hope however that The X Factor gives us less of the persons life story and more of their audition and if theyre not good, just dont bother. Nevertheless, I’m looking forward to all the antics lined up for us today!
Making most of the sunny day, it was only fair to wear something short and summery so I’ve pulled out a few old pieces from my wardrobe that I can finally wear! I chose my pastel pink bow playsuit but I’ve played it safe and stuck with tights as you just cannot predict the British weather. I’ve paired the outfit with my new Stella McCartney ‘Embossed faux nappa bag’ that i’ve been so excited to wear! I got it last week and love it – in a tan shade, it will go with nearly every outfit! I’ve also taken a few close up, detail shots to show the accessories & jewellery worn.
Bow playsuit – Urban Outfitters
Cream crochet waistcoat – Dorothy Perkins
Ankle shoe boots – New Look
Bag – Stella McCartney
Pink ring – Boots
Floral bangle – Vintage
I’ve recently joined the 50 Shades bandwagon and despite all the negative criticism towards the books, i’ve surprisingly enjoyed the read so far. I got through the first book from the trilogy within days during my recent holiday to Dubai and was eager to begin the second of the set. Half way through and the second is already a lot better and addictive than the first. Look around, I can pretty much guarantee you will not be the only girl reading this on the tube. The numerous sex scenes have become repetitive now and I tend to skim these parts but I have to admit, the character Christian Grey has left me and i’m sure I can speak for many other girls out there, mesmerised. With many rumours flying around about the upcoming film and the potential cast, I for one cannot wait for the film to be released! I have a few favourites but I’m rooting for; Ed Westwick for Christian Grey and Blake Lively for Kate Kavanagh, I can’t decide on who for Ana. (Evidently a Gossip Girl fan here!) Who do you want to play Christian and Ana? Agreed, it’s not the best written book but, if you fancy a light hearted read, something for the sunbed or a relaxing past time, this book is a winner.
Before I get snapping away, I thought i’d share a few recent photos of me that will give a brief insight into what to expect particularly style wise… Enjoy! x
Hello, Ola, Bonjour.. I’ve recently felt inspired to start a new blog so here goes…
I’m a Psychology graduate, currently working as an Online Marketing Assistant in Fashion and living and loving the London life. Quite frankly “living a champagne lifestyle on a lemonade budget”. I’m hoping LDN Treasure Chest will give an insight into my life, just as the tag line says: A Fashion Fiend, Food Lover, major Chocolate Addict topped with a slight Shopping Obsession. Unraveling these aspects of my life, I hope you enjoy reading about my fashion moments, sharing my shopping picks and favourite food indulgences.
For now, lots of love!
